You may have noticed the recent revamp to our aromatherapy line and the introduction of our aromatics line. And, you may be wondering... If both are made with essential oils blended in a base of jojoba oil, then what's the difference between the two? Here's the scoop...

The aromatherapy blends have a lower concentration of essential oils and are formulated by their therapeutic properties to aid in a specific need. For example, Chill Pill is meant to aid in easing tension and to promote a more restful nights sleep. The scents are very light and are not meant to be worn as a natural perfume.

The elixirs in the aromatics line are blended at a higher concentration of essential oils and are meant to be worn as a natural perfume. They are formulated primarily by scent to capture a mood. The elixirs put the finishing touch on your outfit, enhancing the feeling you have created with your look. For example, Elixir No.1 has a rich fragrance of warm vanilla, patchouli, and rose. The deep scent is graceful and elegant, yet powerful and captivating. It would be the perfect choice to wear during a business meeting as well as out to a romantic dinner. A few things to keep in mind...

  1. Both lines are made with essential oils that have natural therapeutic properties. If you have any health concerns you should always consult your healthcare provider before using.
  2. Natural aromatics will not last as long as synthetic fragrances. Expect your scent to last about two to three hours. This is the reason I package them in a convenient roller bottle, they are easy to take along with you to reapply throughout the day.
  3. Even though the scent of an aromatherapy blend is light, it doesn't mean it isn't working. The chemical components of the essential oils are absorbed through your skin and mucous membrane, entering your bloodstream and traveling throughout your body. Only use your aromatherapy blends a few times a day, as needed.

I hope this helped explain the difference between the two. And, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would love to help!
